The deadline for public servants to sign the option form for the new remuneration scheme SBPA has been extended till January 15th.
This follows an agreement reached between Cuepacs and the Public Service Department, PSD today.
Datuk Omar said five issues raised by Cuepacs including the exit policy had been thoroughly discussed at the three hour meeting.
A briefing would be held next week between Cuepacs and PSD director general Abu Bakar Abdullah on the salary increment of between seven and 13 percent for civil servants.
On Thursday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak directed PSD and Cuepacs to meet and determine whether to postpone the implementation or extend the deadline for the return of the option form.
